• The co-operation of parents is indispensable in order to ensure regularity, discipline, and quality education in the wards. They should ensure their wards prepare their home assignments and take an active interest in the school activities. We seek your cooperation in inculcating the habit of conversing in English to our students.
• Private tuitions are not encouraged. Our teachers are not allowed to give private tuition to our pupils. Anyone who approaches school teachers for tuition will do so at their own risk and be prepared for the consequences.
• Parents, guardians, or others are requested not to meet the students or teachers during class hours without the permission of school authorities.
• Any change in the address and phone number must be notified to the school office in writing.
• An application from the parents for leave of absence must be sent within a week. Absence without leave permission leads to deregistration of the absentee from the rolls at the end of the month.
• Parents are welcomed to approach the principal with their opinions and suggestions with a prior appointment.
• Parents who do not abide by the rules and regulations of the school as agreed to at the time of admission will be requested to withdraw their wards.
• Parents must also ensure their wards do not involve themselves with any antisocial elements or in any antisocial activities during their tenure in school. It is in their own interest and the interest of the institution that they refrain from any in disciplinary behavior, misconduct, or illegal activity; otherwise, they are liable to suspension or a more severe action.
• Irregular attendance, Constant negligence of work, insubordination to teacher, habitual inattentiveness in class, obscenity in words or deeds, wilful and repeated breaches of school regulations, individually or collectively will lead a pupil to serious punishment or expulsion.
• Any damage to school property must be reported to the class teacher immediately. Pupils causing willful damage will be asked to pay the cost of property and a fine. Repetitions of such acts will lead to expulsion.
• Every student, when called upon to attend extra classes or to take part in other activities of the school, must compulsory participate in them.
• If the student abstains himself without permission for ten consecutive working days, the name will be struck off the rolls on account of the long absence. However, the child can be readmitted at the direction of the school authorities.
• Parents should arrange to take their children home within 15 minutes after the school is over. The school will not be responsible if the children are not fetched within 15 minutes.
• The parents have to make sure that their kids come to school on time and follow punctuality.

• Shri Omar Vaish Montessory School considers applications for financial support for students unable to bear the cost of education due to financial constraints. A Bihari Mani scholarship is awarded for a period of one year to deserving students.
• A scholarship generally covers part of the non-accountable school fee.
• Any scholarship fee concession can be withdrawn or suspended by the principal if the recipient is found neglecting studies and breaching school discipline.

Brother-Sister fee concession

Brother-sister concession in monthly fee @Rs 100/- per month to the first child is given to real brother and sister (not cousin) studying in the school.

Widow concession

Widows (single parent) are given a 30% concession in tuition fees on monthly basis. Application and certificate are required.

Poor student concession

Those families whose annual income is not more than RS 75000/- are liable for this concession.

Concession in full-year payment

If the full-year school fee of a child is paid, a 5% concession in school fee is given at once.

RTE Admission

Under RTE (right to education), our school gives 25% reservation to those who belong to the economically backward category. So the beneficiaries can get free and compulsory education.

• Pupils cannot be admitted into the school without the transfer certificate of the school last attended.
• Students should come to school clean and tidy in their school uniform. All are obliged to wear the uniform under penalty of expulsion from the class and from the school when deemed necessary.
• Students should take special care of personal hygiene and cleanliness of uniform; use of jewelry, makeup, nail polish, and keeping of long nails is strictly prohibited.
• Students should not bring personal photographs, magazines, mobile phones, pen drives, smart watches, and other expensive articles.
• Students must not remain in the classes during the assembly.
• All the students are accountable to the school authorities for their conduct in and out of the school.
• No students should leave the school premises during class hours without the knowledge and permission of the principal.
• Gifts to members of the staff or other demonstrations in their honor require the previous sanction of the principal. All students should endeavor to excel in the practice of good manners and obedience to their teachers.
• If the students are not able to come in school uniform, an application from the parents or guardian is to be submitted to the principal.
• Students are not allowed to leave the classrooms without the permission of the teacher concerned.
• No Student suffering from any contagious or infections disease shall be permitted to attend the school till he/she bring a medical certificate of fitness.
• The school will not be held responsible for the loss of the belongings of children

Discipline is a way of life in SOVMS. It is a vital factor in shaping one's personality. It is inculcated in students not as an imposition but as a normal growth under the process of training in self discipline and self help through activities.

• Every student must carry their diary and identity card to school every day.
• Students must reach the school on time and be regular in attendance; latecomers will be penalized with a fine.
• A student must have 75% of the attendance during the year to be eligible to appear in examinations.
• The children must refrain from spreading litter on the school premises.
• Any incident even outside the school that brings discredit to the institution either because of its unpleasant nature or if it invites criminal or legal action by the police or a court will be severally dealt with and the student responsible may be dismissed from school without further inquiry.
• The school reserves the right to dismiss a student whose progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is antisocial or objectionable.
• No child is exempted from games and physical training except for medical reasons.
• In order to acquire a good command of the English language, which is the medium of instruction for all subjects; children speak only in English in the school premises.
• Cycles must be kept locked in the place provided. The school will not be responsible for the safety and security of bicycles. No student is permitted to bring a scooter or motorcycle to the school.
• No examination or unit test will be held for the absentees before or after the scheduled time.
• Attendance on all school functions days is absolutely necessary.
• The students should behave in a refined manner wherever they go; they should always remember that school is judged by their conduct. They should always greet their teachers, elders and friends in a pleasant and audible tone of voice wherever they meet them in school or outside.
• “All lasting education first begins at home." Parents are requested to check the diaries of the children at least once a week and ensure that instructions are being followed by their children properly.
• In the interest of good grooming, a student is to have neat, clean, properly combed hair of moderate length and style. Extremes of any kind will not be allowed.
• Students should take an honest pride in keeping the school premises clean by using the dustbins for lunch scraps, scrap paper, fruit peels, etc.
